Hi all:
This is a link to a short (500 words) story I have written which touches briefly on my interest in Robin Hood and my feeling of connection to Robin Hood country, written as part of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's Canada Writes Bloodlines Challenge. I thought some of you might be interested or amused.

RIP Richard Matheson

Sadly, Richard Matheson, one of my favourite of writers has passed away at the age of 87. He was the author of I Am Legend, Hell House, What Dreams May Come and many more books and stories in the genres of fantasy, horror, suspense and western.

Hi, to anyone watching! I don't often, practically never in fact, solicit interest here on dA for special projects. This is an exception. Take a look at the work of this deviant:
This talented young Canadian artist is developing his first full-length comic release and needs our help. Take a look at his journal and you will find links to indiegogo, where he is campaigning to release his project: TALK!

It's a worthwhile cause, and I have contributed. I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen briefly at Fan Expo in Toronto last summer, and was very impressed with his portfolio on display there. I hope you will appreciate his talent as much as I do, and make a contribution to make TALK!, an independent comic, a reality!

"For this folder, I give permission for the use of stock photos and resources for any use whatsoever, free of any obligations for renumeration and without conditions.
A link to my originals would be expected and appreciated if displayed anywhere online as the inspiration or subject of any artwork or photomanipulation, and I would love to see what use is made with any of these pics.
Thanks and enjoy!"
In other words: I don't care what you do with it. My preference would be that you show me what you do with it so I have the option to view and fave it, but that is not a condition, just a wish! Make pics, prints, brushes, new stock, whatever... Enjoy!
